Hasbro ‘Boom Box’ Spaceship
A fun 3D visualisation, created for Digital Welly. Their client – Hasbro wanted a fun installation designing and building to show their new ‘Boom-Box’ system to their in house staff. Hasbro have a huge walkway that has numerous large installations to showcase many of their products, and this one needed to be something special.
Here’s the photo of the location for the installation. I used this photo in the 3D scene and matched the model into it.
Here’s the very quick sketch I sent over to the client to show them how I saw the space ship idea working.
Another render, this time from front on with a 3D wall to the rear as I didn’t have a photo from this angle.
And finally a set of images I produced for the fabricators to use as size guides. The whole unit was built and modelled to scale from the outset as it was important to consider the touchscreen mounting and obviously ensure the spaceship was big enough for people to walk under the front hull / nose cone without hitting it !
